Who we are

Saving Our Native Animals (SONA) is a group of dedicated individuals who have banded together to rescue, rehabilitate and release native Australian wildlife in the Snowy Valleys area of New South Wales, Australia - encompassing the vast area around the towns of Adelong, Batlow, Tarcutta, Tumbarumba, Khancoban and Cabramurra.

We are a registered wildlife organisation and hold numerous licences through the appropriate NSW government agencies.

We adhere to a strict code of conduct and code of ethics, always ensuring that we are working in the best interests of the animals and the organisation.

Our voluteers are all ages and do a wide range of jobs including pick up and drop off of injured wildlife, caring, feeding, vet visits, rehabilitaiton, fundraising and administration.

We welcome new members. We need carers and non-carers. Training is provided for the right people.
